Fair Work Briefings (Gold Coast)

The QHA is pleased to announce a regular event for the Gold Coast calendar, being the Employment Relations Department's Fair Work Briefings program.

The program is an educational one involving a series of two-monthly one hour information sessions on relevant and topical industrial relations matters.

The Briefings will be held on the Gold Coast and hospitality employers are invited to register for one, two or all sessions.

2012 PROGRAM (February to June)

The following sessions have been organised for the first half of 2012:

• Wednesday, 15 February - Surveillance in the Workplace: Privacy Considerations
• Wednesday, 18 April - Responding to an Unfair Dismissal Claim
• Wednesday, 20 June - Managing an Employee's Performance

9.00am to 10.00am (registration and refreshments from 8.45am)

COST

·           Members - $27.50 (inc GST) per session

·           Corporate Members - $45.00 (inc GST) per session

·           Non Members - $66.00 (inc GST) per session

·           Non Hotel Based Attendees - $72.00 (inc GST) per session.
