Why You Must Have Your OLGR APPROVED RSA
- Reforms to the Liquor Act 1992 (Qld) effective from 1 January 2009 - all staff involved in the sale or supply of liquor must hold this certificate.
- Understand your rights and responsibilities in regards to providing alcohol to others eg Volunteers, House Parties etc.
- The Queensland OLGR Approved RSA certificate is valid for 3 years from the date of issues
- RSA certificates issued from other states may not meet the mandatory Queensland OLGR requirement.
Who Should Have an Approved RSA Certificate
- All staff involved in the sale or supply of liquor including:
- Licensees, Approved Managers, Duty Managers and Supervisors, Crowd Controllers, Bar Attendants, Crowd Controllers, Glass Collectors, Bottleshop Staff.

This 5 hour course is recommended for all servers of alcohol and is Nationally Recognised Training:
- Responsible service of alcohol

- Unduly intoxicated and disorderly patrons
- Security
- Staff training
- Promotional activities
- Responsible hospitality practices

- Community and industry consultation regarding the conduct of the business
