Tess Pinches
Human Resources Manager
Quicksilver Group

"The Quicksilver Group has utilised the services of the QHA training team to assist with the education, refresher coaching and compliance training for many of our managers throughout the Group.  We have engaged the QHA in-house training team a number of times in the past three years requesting the delivery of training such as:  Understanding the Fair Work Act, Implications of the Bullying Legislation, Workforce Planning, Recruitment, Counselling, Disciplining and Termination and the Employment Cycle and the impact of anti-discrimination, general protections and unfair dismissals.

The training provided by the QHA team was professional and the delivery and content exactly meet the needs of the targeted audiences.  Given the nature of our industry, many of our Department Managers are predominantly operational and the training delivered by the QHA team was succinct, straight forward and easily comprehended.  The team, and particularly Joanna, went to great lengths to ensure that attendees were comfortable asking any number of questions and gave replies that were pertinent to the industry.  Managers came away from the training with a clear understanding of the topics covered, tips on managing difficult situations and the distinct knowledge of the importance of not only following policy in a fair and reasonable manner, but the necessity to adequately document the process.

I can not praise the training provided by QHA highly enough and would readily recommend their training services to others".

Sally-Kim Jenkinson
Human Resources Manager
Stamford Plaza Brisbane

"To bring expert knowledge and credibility to the topics we engaged QHA to deliver training on conducting workplace investigations and workplace harassment and bullying.  Joanna Minchinton - Employment Relations Manager, customized both courses specifically for Stamford Plaza and included recent legal cases to make the training relevant, insightful and poignant.

Managers who attended the training took away useful practicable knowledge they could immediately put to use. I can highly recommend QHA to add a professional specialized approach to  training on any employment law subject".

Joan Blindheim
Director of Human Resources, Australia
Frasers Hospitality Australia Management Pty Ltd

"We used QHA as part of our industry partners to conduct an internal training session  for our middle management and leadership team at Capri by Fraser, Brisbane. This was a  three hour session introducing and further developing the Award knowledge of our team. The session was carried out in a very personable and professional manner not just addressing the key areas of the Award, however the facilitators took the time to tailor the session to the needs of our business prior to delivery.

The feedback from the team was very positive, particularly where they were able to ask questions directly related to their departmental challenges and gain the answers they were after to enable them to make change/impact post the training. I would recommend QHA as a great resource to provide training in their field of expertise".

By registering, or being registered for a course with the QHA, registrants are required to abide by the terms and conditions set out in the 'QHA Employment Relations Training Policy'. A copy of the Policy can be downloaded HERE.
