Queensland Responsible Gambling Code of Practice

People adversely affected by gambling require help, and it is in everyone's interest to provide assistance when and where it is needed. With this in mind, the Responsible Gambling Advisory Committee (RGAC), under the auspice of Queensland Treasury, has developed Australia's first industry-wide and tripartite (industry, government and community) approach to harm minimisation through the Queensland Responsible Gambling Code of Practice.

This commitment to the code by all sectors of the gambling industry incorporates a range of harm minimisation measures designed to assist gambling operators (hotels, clubs, casinos, newsagents, TAB, bingo etc) in the responsible provision of gambling services.
